The first World Day Against the Death Penalty was announced for the first time in 2003, at the European Unions' first meeting against the death penalty.
Iran is one of the countries that death penalty is practiced in horrible ways in public.
The Islamic republic ranks second in executing children, ethnic minorities, dissidents and religious and sexual minorities.
We, Supporters of the the Mothers of Laleh Park, are supporting those mothers whose children have been murdered, kidnapped or injured within the last 33 years and or are in prisons. Those mothers whose children were killed during and after the protests against the 2009 election, including mothers of Neda, Sohrab, Ashkan, Taraneh, masoud, Fatemeh and ....
- Abolishment of the death penalty
- Freedom of all political-consciences prisoners
- Open trials of those who ordered and carried out the crimes of the past 33 years
