Protest on Esfand 17 in Tehran
Hundred years ago, along with protests by women, 8th of March was named as women day, and since then, the event takes place worldwide. However in Iran the event takes place under tight security and is accompanied by arresting women activists and their supporters.
There was only few years at the begging of the revolution when women could freely celebrate this day and demand their rights without facing government violation in return, however even in those years government never paid any attention to these women's requests neither about women social rights nor their political demands.
History can testify that women in the world have at very least been a manager of a small community which is calledfamily that trains great people whom make differences in the world and then pass the modern and civilized world to thenext generation .Women are the source of love and tenderness and elegance who patiently carry a load of child inside them for nine months and then feed it with their body's sap and never hesitate to sacrifice for their child. With all their love and elegance , their tenderness turns to anger when the human right in the society is violated or when the women right is being neglected.
Similarly in Iran, many women through history have been strongly defending their right and human right with their pen, art or other courage .
During the past 80 years despite all the disrespect and oppression, Iranian women have never stopped their activitiesand have always been in the forefront of fields of science, art, sports and politics and will continue their fight till they reach their fundamental humanitarian rights.
Hero women who have fight for the stolen Revolution side by side with men and as a consequence being imprisoned orexecuted, but have never forgotten their aspiration always stand robust to achieve their demands.
Among these women are those who have coordinately formed the Khavaran Mothers, One Million Signatures Campaign for women and feminist community, and Mothers for Peace in the country's worst political conditions and Apparentrepression of government.
After the election with widespread killings and excessive street arrest and false media confessions, spontaneously somemothers of those victim of government violation and their supporters have gathered in the Laleh park with a clear goal and asked gently singing peaceful chants to be heard by the world.
During the past year and half government answer to these women's demand of justice and freedom was the dead ofNedas, Taranehs, and the execution of Zahra Bahrami . At the same time the women were appreciated by arrestingthousands of women over the country under hard and offensive interrogation .
In this regard Mothers of Laleh park repeatedly insulted and attacked and were beaten by the government officials, andhad double-wide arrest. On 5th of December 2009 and 7th of Jan 2010 some of these women were sent to the Committee of Ministers and get commitment and were released on bail.
From 7th of Feb 2010 supporters of Laleh park mothers arrest began at night by attacking their homes to create fearand intimidation.
in the first group arrest , supporters ms. Omalbanin Ebrahimi, Jila Makondi, Leila Seif alahi and Elham Ahsani were arrested, detained and sent to section 209 of Evin prison and for 35 to 40 days were in custody and were under intenseinterrogation and psychological and mental torture.
On 8th of November 2010 Ms. Akram Neghabi the mother of Said Zeynali who is missing since 1999, and Ms. Jila Trmsythe mother of Hussam Trmsy who was arrested after the election and spent nine months in prison, were arrested and detained for 75 days and persecuted and have been under mental tortured and have been in solitary confinement andfinally were released on heavy bail.
On the 5th of December 2010 when Ms. Hakimeh Shokri went to cemetery for martyr Amir Tajmyrzadh birthday , along with Ms. Neda Mostaghimi and father of martyr Ramezani and many mothers such as mother of martyr Sohrab werearrested. Ms. Neda Mostaghimi were released after a month and Ms. Hakimeh Shokri after 4 months while spending 2 months in the solitary, and she was released under the heaviest bill. She is the true hero of the supporters of mothers of laleh park by having the heaviest bill and most prolonged detention.
This was a short summary of the pain that Iranin women and among those mother of Laleh Park are going through.
So we the mooring mothers and the supporters will hold a peaceful and civil protest on March 8 along with the women of our society and women around the world to celebrate international women day .
Finally, as a supporters of mothers of Laleh park we want to re announce that we are neither a party nor a dependent organized group , but we're mothers and women spontaneity gathered together after the election events along with mooring mothers .
